Founder and Chief Business Development Officer
Bobby co-founded Hera Systems in 2013, and today also serves as the company’s Chief Business Development Officer. Bobby’s role as a leader and manager is rooted in more than two decades of engineering and contract management experience, and is complemented by his strengths building and nurturing business relationships, developing and implementing organizational strategies, managing operations and company resources, and serving as a communication conduit with primary stakeholders.
Bobby is the founder and former CEO of MACH-T3 Engineering. He founded MACH-T3 in 2002 as a small engineering firm specializing in large-scale projects to suit the needs of the U.S. Department of Defense and aerospace contracting agencies. The primary focus of these projects was to provide clients with mechanical engineering, mechanical design, structural design, vibration and thermal analysis, project management and test support.
As a classically trained mechanical engineer, Bobby has in-depth background serving military and aerospace contracts. He has implemented and managed diverse projects involving a range of subject matter – from nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers to commercial satellites.
With a track record of successfully building an engineering firm from the ground up, securing numerous defense contracts and solving complex technical problems in compressed timeframes and under extreme pressure, Bobby has the hands-on experience, business acumen and visionary leadership required to position Hera Systems as a front-runner in the satellite information and analytics industry.
Bobby earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in mechanical engineering. He grew up in the greater Boston area and has lived in Silicon Valley since 1998. In his spare time, Bobby enjoys sailing.
